Representatives from the Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team (SET) and Gang Unit will conduct a presentation on November 17 at the Community Center from 7:00-9:00 pm. to educate parents and leaders of various Latino organizations, on the names and types of gangs in the area and the tell-tale signs to look to find out if their children are associating with gangs.
While the session is mostly geared toward the Latino community and will be given in Spanish, the information is important to all parents and there will be English translation available.
The presentation will be televised on local public access and various Spanish media (TV, radio and newspaper).
